HOW TO FIND THE BEST DIGITAL CAMERA?

It seems that every month, different manufacturers are coming up with the latest digital cameras to entice potential clients.
After spending sizeable amount of time at the store figuring out which is the best digital camera for us, we finally have enough money to buy for that eye-popping, 7 mega pixel, 10x digital zoom, potable, candy colored, up to 512MB expandable memory of super hi-speed SD memory card and not to mention very portable. We march to the store armed with our savings and lotsa pride, when we pass by a new display - an eight mega pixel, up to 1G expandable memory, video playback capable, with 22 scenic modes kind-of-camera. And we sigh because the producer of this amazing gadget claims that this is the best digital camera yet out in the market. And so as we always want to have the best, armed with our credit cards, we buy the "best digital camera." But then again, that doesn't last too long, after two months or so, there's another "best digital camera."

What makes a good digital camera, the best digital camera?

Well, there are certain factors to consider when looking for the "BEST digital camera":
MEGAPIXELS. One of the most important features of digital camera to make it into the best digital camera category is its mega pixel property. The higher the mega pixels the better the actual photograph will be. A mega pixel is equivalent to one million pixels. The resolution of your image is based upon the mega pixel property of camera. This means that as you enlarge the picture, you would get more detail and less blurry colors.
LCD SIZE. The best digital camera will always have a large LCD to help you frame your subject without having to squint to the viewfinder. This is also helpful when reviewing your images, some cameras enable touch up and editing features with its LCD. A 1.5-inch display is average, a 2-inch LCD display is good, but the best LCD size would be 2.5 inches or higher.
ZOOM. Most digital cameras have both digital and optical zoom. A higher optical zoom is always better than a higher digital zoom. Digital cameras are usually furnished with optical of between 3x to 10x. The better the optical zoom, the higher it climbs up to the best digital camera category.
MEMORY CARD. Always make sure that your memory card is the right one for your digital camera. There are different types of memory card like the XD, SD, Flash cards... And these types of memory cards go with certain types of digital cameras. Choose the size of memory that you need, if you're a photo junkie, you might need more than 32MB. Memory cards can go up to 1G.

The key point to find the best digital camera is to find one that will best fit you and your lifestyle. Don't just buy the latest or the one that claims they are the best digital cameras out in the market. You wouldn't want to buy a DSLR and use it with your home activities?! Or you don't want to buy the latest point and shoot camera when you're serious about being a PRO photographer.

Actually, the best digital camera is the one that you will enjoy and use. Not the type that you'll just leave in its box or after a few weeks..

With the birth of digital cameras, photography has never been so exciting and refreshing.
In this tech age, there are varieties of digital cameras to choose. Whether you shop at the store or online stores, you will see lots of them. Different photo-cameras offer different options and capabilities. This is main reason why choosing ONE is getting more difficult. Once you see what each have to offer, you will obviously have a hard time deciding which one is best buy.
The usual mistake that people make when buying their own digital camera is to be what the advertising mediums have to say about them. By the time they buy that camera, they will realize that they are not as good as they first thought. It would then be too late to return it and change for another kind or model.
Keep in mind that getting a camera should take a lot of thinking and consideration. Eg.  Same as buying a car, you have to consider every aspects since this is one thing that you want to work nice and smooth and would want to have for a long period of time.
Here are some of the things that will help you in your decision making process before buying:

1. The cost
Right, so you wanted the latest digital camera in the market. But are you ready to provide needed amount of money for it?
Cost is a important factor when buying digital camera. It is obvious that the best camera comes with a large price. And your budget may not exactly follow its high cost.
This is not saying that cheap ones are not as good. There are those that you can get for a “reasonable” price, and still works just as well as an costly one. You need to shop around for the best deal first before you decide on one model. Better yet, you can save up on that expensive camera that you wanted all along. Do your research first!

2. The purpose of camera
Will you be using the camera to shot your family? Or maybe you planning to shoot some great photos just like a professional?
By knowing what use your digital camera will have, it would be easier to decide what type of digital camera to buy. If you buy a “simple” one that can be used at home, you will not get the features that you need if you plan on taking great photographic pictures. On the other side, it would be a waste of your money if you have the latest eg. SLR camera only to be used for personal photos..

3. The durability
The digital camera is more expensive than the conventional film cameras, you definitely would want something that will stay durable and lasting for a long time. You definitely want something that last even through rough handling.
If you happen to purchase a typical digital camera you may want to buy some equipment to protect it from scratches and damage. It is best however to get one that is known to have a good quality and durability.

You want the best value for the money that you will pay for a digital photo-camera. Think hard about these important factors first, so you will get it right the first time…
